Midway, the makers of NBA Jam and NFL Blitz, is now bringing you a video game that takes you into the lifestyle of a NBA superstar. NBA BALLERS is a one-on-one arcade style game that takes you through the ranks of being the "greatest baller of all time." That’s right, go from having nothing but a fish sandwich and some flip-flops, to having cars, ice, tattoos, and anything else that makes a baller fly. This is a creative idea, instead of just being able to win a NBA championship, you get to see what comes after that. NBA Ballers offers you over 60+ NBA players and 24 NBA Legends. Don’t worry you create your own player so if you want to ball against big Shaq or Walt Frazier you can. This game includes multiple game modes such as rags to riches. This is a story mode where you go from having nothing and work your way up to the big leagues by playing street ball matches. You then go on a reality show called NBA Ballers: Rags-To-Riches and win fame and fortune. There is also the TV tournament mode. This is a collection of matches that are broken up into competition ladders that feature several different players for you to compete against, including a "boss." Each ladder is themed and features its own set of rules for competitions. Some ladders put you in one-on-one matches while others throw more players into the mix to keep things fresh. NBA Ballers will be available on the Playstation 2 and X-Box platforms in April 2004.
