Nintendo Goes Old School

By Mike Street The 2004 BET Awards paid tribute to 25 years of Hip-Hop on wax with medley of old-school rappers doing their thing. Well now Nintendo is celebrating the old-school days by releasing a new retro designed version of the Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP and a collection of classic titles. The Classic NES Limited Edition Game Boy Advance SP, which sells for $100, resembles the first console Nintendo came out with in 1985. It really brings you back to Christmas morning when you opened up your first Nintendo -- complete with that weird robot packaging.

With the release of the Classic NES Limited Edition Game Boy Advance SP also comes all your favorite classic NES games. You can jump over barrels and fight that nasty gorilla in Donkey Kong. Or you can remember the time when you first met Link and save the land and princess Zelda in The Legend of Zelda. Or jump around with the wacky Mario Brothers and save the princess from the bad guys. Or even get it on and chomping in Pac Man.
Whatever your flava of gaming you will be taken back in time and enjoy every minute of it. All the classic titles retail for about $19.99 and are all worth getting to kill some time on the subway or on a long drive.
