Is SNK runnin' out of ideas

Apparently SNK needs money, that might be why they keep releasing old games like king of fighters and metal slug. Well, this E3, SNK has a surprize for all you game heads who liked the classic titles of the past. THE KING OF FIGHTERS NEOWAVE, SAMURAI SHODOWN V, THE KING OF FIGHTERS '94 RE-BOUT, KOF: MAXIMUM IMPACT - MANIAX, METAL SLUG 4/5, and KING OF FIGHTERS 2002/2003 will come for the Xbox, Metal Slug 4/5 is coming for the PS2, and old ass metal slug one is coming for the game boy advance. Question? Why in the hell are they still making games for the game boy advance? It might be the same reason why madden 2006 is coming for the PS one, and brand new game on a dated (but classic) system. Even thought there will be a bunch of brand new games showing at E3, im sure that many gamers will appear at the booth on the 18th.

50 Cent: Bulletproof to storm E3 in 2 weeks

50 Cent will expand his hold on the rap community even more with the release of his video game 50 Cent: Bulletproof. 50 Cent will star in and provide his likeness and voice in the game and it will be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles on May 18th, 2005.

“In everything I do, I play to win,” said 50 Cent. “I’m out to destroy the competition and my video game is no different. It’s a fantasy version of my life. I plan to shake up the video game world like I did the rap world – I’m pulling no punches with my game.” 50 Cent will relive the moment he was shot 9 times in the game and seek revenge on his attackers. His vengeance leads him down a blood filled path through New York’s drug world where he uncovers an international conspiracy with devastating implications. 50 Cent will blaze his guns through a deep web of crime and prove he is bulletproof.

“50 Cent is one of the most talented artists in the recording industry with legions of fans around the world. Everything he touches turns to gold – music, movies, clothes, cars, watches,” said Bruce Hack, CEO of Vivendi Universal Games. “We are thrilled to collaborate with 50 Cent and Interscope Records in a video game debut that will deliver extraordinary music, exciting game play, and best of all, 50 Cent.”

Another exciting feature of this project is the inclusion of HBO's Sopranos executive producer and Emmy-Award winner Terry Winter. Who inked both the game's script as well as the screenplay for 50's forthcoming film, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ which will soon start production in Canada.

Look for 50 Cent: Bulletproof to hit stores Fall 2005.
